This book teaches why real faith is not based upon physical evidence, but upon the Word of God. And the difference between Abraham faith and Thomas faith.

         “हजारौँ मानिसहरू विश्‍वास पाउनका लागि प्रार्थना गरिरहेका छन्, जबकि विश्‍वास केवल परमेश्‍वरको वचनको सुनाइद्वारा मात्र आउँछ,” केनथ ई. हेगन आफ्नो पुस्तक ‘साँचो विश्‍वास’ मा लेख्नुहुन्छ।
           भौतिक दुनियाँमा बाँचिरहेका कारण हामी परमेश्‍वरको वचनको सत्यतामा भन्दा आफ्ना ज्ञानेन्द्रियहरूमाथि धेरै झुकाव राख्छौँ भनेर रेभ. हेगन यहाँ औँल्याउनुहुन्छ । “साँचो विश्‍वास अब्राहामको जस्तो विश्‍वास हो, जुन भौतिक प्रमाणमा नभएर परमेश्‍वरको वचनमा आधारित हुन् ,” रेभ. हेगन जोड दिँदै भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ ।
           “हाम्रा वरिपरि हुने गरेका ठूला ठूला चङ्गाइ सभाहरूको आलोचना हुने गरेको छ किनभने धेरै अवस्थाहरूमा चङ्गाइ दीर्घकालीन रहेको पाइँदैन,” रेभ. हेगन उल्लेख गर्नुहुन्छ, “यो सत्य हो किनकि जहाँ सामूहिक विश्‍वास एवम् अभिषेक हुन्छ, त्यहाँ मानिसहरूले सजिलै चङ्गाइ प्राप्त गर्छन्; तर उनीहरूले प्राप्‍त गरेको चङ्गाइ कायम राख्‍न ती मानिसहरू नियमित परमेश्‍वरको वचनद्वारा पोषित हुनु आवश्यक छ; उनीहरूको विश्‍वास मजबुत रहिरहनु आवश्यक छ ।”

           “Thousands of people are praying to get faith, when faith comes only by hearing the Word of God,” Kenneth E. Hagin writes in his book The Real Faith.
             Rev. Hagin points out that because we live in the natural realm, we tend to rely on our senses rather than on the truths of God’s Word. He adds that real faith is an Abraham-type faith, based not on physical evidence but on the Word of God.
           “There has been criticism of the mass healing meetings because in many cases the healings do not last,” Rev. Hagin notes. “This is true because where a mass faith is present, people can be temporarily helped. But to maintain their healing, these people should continue to feed upon God’s word in this area of faith.”
