Christians get in trouble when they do not know how to exercise their authority in Christ. Remember, sin has been dealt with on the Cross, but Satan has not yet been thrown into the lake of fire. He is still active in the Earth today, resisting the work of God and those belonging to Him. Satan will try to attack our bodies with sickness and our minds with oppression. His goal is to keep us from doing what God has called us to do. But Satan and his demons are under Jesus’ feet, which means they are also under the believer’s feet. The only way Satan can gain power over a Christian is through deception, making us believe in his power, making us afraid of him.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

किन यस्तो हन्छ त ?
ख्रीष्टमा आफूले पाएको अधिकारलाई प्रयोग गर्न नजानेका कारण ख्रीष्टीयनहरू समस्यामा पर्ने गर्छन् । याद गर्नहोस, येशूको क्रूसको कार्यमा पापको समाधान भइसकेको छ, तर शैतान अहिलेसम्म नरकको कुण्डमा फालिएको भने छैन । त्यो अहिले पनि पृथ्वीमा सक्रिय छ, परमेश्वरको कार्य तथा उहाँका जनको प्रतिरोध गरिरहेको छ । शैतानले हाम्रो शरीरलाई रोगबिमारद्वारा र मनलाई विविध उत्पीडनद्वारा आक्रमण गर्ने प्रयास गर्छ। परमेश्वरले हामीलाई दिनुभएको बोलावट पूरा गर्नबाट हामीलाई रोक्नु नै त्यसको लक्ष्य हो……शैतान तथा त्यसका भूत आत्माहरू येशू ख्रीष्‍टका पाउमुनि छन् । यसको अर्थ, ती हाम्रा पाउमुनि पनि छन् । शैतानले ख्रीष्टीयनहरूमाथि शक्ति हाँसिल गर्ने एउटै मात्र तरिका छल हो- त्यसले विश्वासीहरूलाई उसको सामर्थ्यमा विश्वास गर्न लगाउने र उसको डरमा कुँज्याएर राख्‍ने प्रयास गर्छ।
यदि हामीले शैतानले हाम्रा बारेमा पहिल्यै जानेको कुरा मात्र जान्यौँ भने पनि, हामी अबउसो त्योदेखि डराउनेछैनौँ ।
